Salvation Army Angel Tree (December 2007) - Angel Tree Website:
Angel Trees are now located in 9 metroplex areas in shopping malls, churches, corporations and other organizations. They are now helping over 41,000 children each year to have a better Christmas. It’s a very admirable program and LinkWorth is pleased to say we were able to participate in it this year for the first time. LinkWorth, along with Easeley McCaleb, Multigraphx, Cornerstone Staffing, Minister Search, Mercy Hospice, Z Option, Pepperidge Farm, Ameriprise Financial, Roch, Paycom, Select Insurance Agency and Orbin and Cooper Wealther Management, Inc. were able to sponsor 40 children this year.
CCA - Christian Community Action (December 2007) - CCA Website:
Local businesses and organizations are no less important to CCA’s mission. These local funding sources not only participate monetarily, they often provide product donations and in-kind gifts. Businesses and organizations also participate in CCA’s many fundraising activities.
LinkWorth participated in a Christmas luncheon for the elederly delivering personalized gifts for many of those who were there.
Blog Contest (November 2007) - The Contest Announcement:
We're always looking for a way to get our customers involved in what we do. We came up with this contest that was as simple as writing a blog post about LinkWorth. Anything they wanted, however they wanted. The grand prize received a Nintendo Wii, the next five (5) placed received an engraved iPod Nano and the final five (5) placed received a deposit of $50 into their LinkWorth accounts.
We definitely had some interesting entries. Stay tuned for the next contest.
